So I joined deviant art with the express intention of promoting my work as a writer. I have instead found it to be an incredibly awesome avenue for posting my photography work. That being said I want to start promoting my writing to a wider audience so I am going to start posting the 1st draft of The Firewall Saga to deviantart. The first book is essentially finished and I am working my way through the re-write phase at the moment. So without further ado, here is chapter 1 of the Firewall Saga. http://gryphonboy.deviantart.com/art/The-Firewall-Saga-Chapter-1-315060561 and here is the gallery of all chapters posted so far. http://gryphonb

Happy Birthday!
Thanks for the favs Bryn.
Hi Bryn,

I though I would put a copy of the review I did on the 'Authonomy' website, onto your page here as well. I mean every word Bryn, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your book.

Review:

Well I’ve just finished reading, and I’ve read the lot. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the concept of a planet divided, and the contrast between the people left to cope with the divide. I liked the development of the characters, and how you echoed how their civilisations had developed differently. You painted a futuristic picture which was full of description, allowing me, as your reader to lose myself in your world.

I think from what I have read so far, Argentum is my favourite character. I admired her sense for adventure and exploration, and I loved that you made her a strong character. I look forward to seeing how she develops further into your book. I care about what happens to Denmark, and without spoiling anything for other readers, I particularly enjoyed his journey. I couldn’t put your book down at that point in the story. You built the story up well and kept me wanting to read more. I like the threads that you have woven into your story, hinting at a rocky history between Denmark and his brother Sweden and I’m looking forward to seeing how they develop.

Another thing which I particularly liked was your use of quotes at the beginning of every chapter. I found myself looking forward to the next one, just to see what you would come up with. I apologise for this feedback taking so long, but I wanted to read the whole thing before coming back to you. I can say however, that your book was on my bookshelf long ago.

Let me know when you publish. I want to finish your book. Thank you for sharing your work with me.
Hi Serina,

Thank you for the great feedback. I really appreciate it :-)

When you say Argentum is your favourite, did you mean Antigua? Argentum is her horse :-)
Yes, sorry I got the name confused, however that said, I loved the dynamics between the two. :)
Cool! You're the first person to comment on that.
just wanted to drop in and let you know that i haven't forgotten you. i'm feeling a bit stronger about my landscapes now and will probably take a swing at the Power-Plant Industrial Firewall Complex soon-ish.

you should see results before long.
